I’m endlessly inspired by travel, art museums, national parks, and meeting new people. Though I’m originally from Nashville, Tennessee, you can often find me in New York, Italy, wandering through national forests, or wherever a story calls me.
My approach to weddings and portraits is rooted in film -- 35mm, medium format, Super 8, and 16mm motion picture. Film has an unmatched ability to spark curiosity and put people at ease; I often find that wedding guests relax and reveal their truest selves when a film camera is in my hands. Many of my favorite photographs have been created this way, and I believe there’s no medium more worthy of preserving life’s most meaningful moments.
I consider myself a documentarian and artist above all, a storyteller who seeks truth, beauty, and connection in every frame. I’m drawn to the raw emotion, quiet details, and in-between moments that weave together the real story of a day. Whether you choose digital, film, or a combination of both, I’ll approach your wedding or event with the same intention: to create candid, timeless, artful imagery that feels like you and celebrates the authentic moments.
